Announcement of the Digital GreenTalents 2024 on 13th November!
We're delighted to announce that the jury has selected 20 Digital GreenTalents, who will be honoured at the Digital GreenTech Conference on 13 November 2024.
The Award Ceremony will be embedded into the Digital GreenTech conference. During the two days of the conference, 14 research projects from the BMBF funding measure “Digital GreenTech - Environmental Technology Meets Digitalization” will present their current research status and ideas. These include projects from the fields of water management, sustainable land management, resource efficiency and the circular economy. Together with the interested public, they shed light on the potential applications of digital technologies for environmental protection and take a look at the special features that arise when environmental technology meets IT.
Dr. Christiane Plociennik, a jury member of the Digital GreenTalents Award, will kick off the conference with a keynote on "Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability." On the second day, a panel discussion on "International perspectives on digitalisation and sustainability" with Anja Eimer, member of the jury of the Digital GreenTalents Award, Lea von Bressensdorf, Project Lead at Chambers for GreenTech and former GreenTalent winner from 2010 Binita Shah, will commence before the Award Ceremony begins at 13:00 (CET).
